That he noticed this.  At first, I was very offended, because I certainly dont\\&#8217; believe I am that insecure.<\/p>\n<p>But as he went on and on, it seemed more like he was projecting himself onto me.  Rather he believed I lacked confidence, because it was something he saw in himself.<\/p>\n<p>And it\\&#8217;s true, I do lack confidence in some areas.  But the thing is that I spend a large portion of my life trying to be more confident.
