Today, I went to Mountain View to have lunch with several people from the program.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, I was about 30 minutes late and that broke the social pattern.<\/p>\n
So I got a corner between Cole and Alex E. Here was the twist. In these kind of situations, I feel antsy and out of place. So I sat there uncomfortable, eating and trying to make small talk. I know I try hard sometimes.<\/p>\n
I don\\’t know if it\\’s the people, but sometimes I don\\’t feel appreciated. But hey, so it goes. I have to make do with the situation.<\/p>\n
I know every single person as the table (with the exception of one), but it made me wonder. Do I really want to be in the Bay Area after I graduate? Do I really want to be around these people? I know these people will lock me in. I know they will surround me and I won\\’t have an ambition to meet others. So I started thinking. What about Seattle? Seriously. What about Santa Monica? I know socal wouldn\\’t be for me…but what if? Perhaps, I should look into it…and think about it. Then we\\’ll see how I feel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
