It's him!!!

Just wanted to mention that as I was walking through the "park" in front of Sather Tower at 7 pm, I saw a rat. At first, I thought it was a pigeon feeding on some loose garbage. Ew, rats!!!

I got a new watch Saturday from Montgomery Ward. Yup, that century-old department store that is about to disappear. Good thing or bad thing? 60% off = good!
Another thing though, I dislike wearing watches, because it makes you glance at it every few seconds. And that habit can be pretty annoying (and rude)
to most people...geez, does she really want to go or something? Also the late thing. If you're late, you're late. There is no reason to keep checking whether you're late or not...because you are probably late.
The watch is nifty though. It has a matching bracelet...in fact itself it's a bracelet. Let checking the time begin!

Today was my first Monday in two weeks that was truly blah. Ordinary in other words. Last week, President's Day threw my whole week off. The week before, Alan came up. :) Well hey, I procrastinated a lot that week. Hopefully, I will get some stuff done today. Math homework, for example. Bwahahahaha!

I had my face-to-face gradiing for project 2 today. Ugh, it was extremely intimidating. I had arranged to have the appointment to be at 2. Dima, my partner for the project, was already sitting there. I peered into the room and noticed two huge guys and a small guy. I recognized the small guy from my math discussion. Somehow he had portrayed an annoying presence at the time, making a lot of rants in discussion. Yet, the appointment before us finished. To my surprise, it was the little guy that was grading our paper. Needless intimidation. I felt a bit flustered when I couldn't answer his questions about the project, but my partner was able to. Eeesh, I should have done the second part of the project. Nonetheless, after struggling through a question about painters, Dima and I still walked away with full credit. Woohoo!
Weird thing was...right after that, the reader Damon acknowledged my presence as I saw him walking up and down foothil (with Thomas). Then again, perhaps it's a good thing that the reader knows who I am...maybe he'll grade my homework easier. :D Guilt trips that is. Bwahahahaha!

The weirdest (dunno...also meanest) thing happened today in astrobiology. I made a random comment about how tired I was to Ann. Then the guy in front of me (now characterized as the sick poor "old" man) turned halfway around and said, "Well, don't you realize recruits in the army have to get up at 6 am? Those ROTC people are probably more devoted to their work than you are."
I think that's what he said, because at first, I wasn't sure who he was talking to. Ann glanced at me giving a knowing look--yup, that guy is ruuude! Insulting. Hehe, the funny thing was Professor Lipps talked about earthquakes again. Lol, he also mentioned that the most dangerous part of the lecture room was where the sick poor "old" man was sitting, because the movie projector on the ceiling can come crashing down. It's only attached to the ceiling by a metal rod. *sadistic laugh*
