Mathematical Pain

Yeah, really pain. Pain knowing for the first time that I'll have to...*gasp* study for math. Aiya!

My anxieties about next week's midterm somewhat eased when I visited a TA's office hours. A TA with long stringy hair. Yes, this TA is male. Well, visited isn't the appropriate term. The typical me was at work. In my room, I decided to push my fear of intimidation and head over to Evans--8th floor. Once there, (after wrestling with other elevator passengers to press number 8) I walked down the hallway to room 846. First instinct as I peered into the room: run. Scary man with seemingly smart people (note smart people are the worst...asking the most intelligent questions, no doubt I am condemned by an inferiority complex). I circled around the floor trying to push the irrational intimidation and fears aside. Geez, this is why Sri should have come with me. Groups = sense of false security, but the security is what is needed. Eventually, I went in knowing that lots of people in their offices were probably wondering why a girl with a white cardigan (very thin mind you) and a orange camisole was stalking the hallways. To suppress any further suspicion, I went inside the room.
Well, hey Sherri was there. Mission accomplished.

Then after my astrobiology discussion (the GSI showed a clip from FOX's Did We Land on the Moon Conspiracy. we spent most of the time laughing at how ridiculous and hilarious their claims were. Omg, if you fastfoward the lunar tapes, you can see them run like they do on earth! Omg! Sarcasm aside, conclusion: NASA really has no reason to hide the truth. 'Tis science. Not politics.), I headed to the library. I walked in circles for about thirty minutes until my group for math arrived. Tsk tsk. Because there weren't any available study rooms, we headed to Unit 3. All the way there, yes. Finally, we got work done. After tons of kidding around...and making fun of yes...Mr. Math TA. He is evil. Yet, I found out that CAs get paid approximately the same as RCCs. Is that unfair or what? CAs don't have to do anything except sit at the desk with a computer with T3 access to the Internet and occasionally help residents in the computing lab. That is so a study job. As for RCCs, total troubleshooting. Can we say unfair again?

Got an e-mail about a RCC Intern 2k reunion. I know for sure that this reunion will be better than the reunion I had last. People are much nicer and open in college than in high school. I don't think I intend to go to my high school reunion either. Unless, I have something (or...heeey...someone) to show off. But of course, that's just full of pride. Then again, there's nothing else to bring to a high school reunion anyway except Look! I have progressed more than you did!!! Bwahahahaha!!!!
