I finally got the chance to wake up late today...at 12 pm. Dan had arrived at 10 am to visit Doreen. Yes, I stayed in my bed for another two hours and finally decided to wake up as a result of another bad dream. You know, the usual.

During lunch, I burned my right pinky with hot tomato sauce from a pizza. Ouch.

My mom had scheduled an eye examination (without telling me...okay) for the afternoon and so off we trekked all the way to the decaying Montgomery Ward. Piteous Montgomery Ward. The catalog...clever...the location...no. Dr. Wang asked the usual annoying prying questions. My sister was asked, "How much do you weigh?" Although that was taken out of context...well, really.

Ate at Buttercup Restaurant in Oakland today. First time that my parents willingly with the grandparents ate at an American restaurant. Coupon deal, that's why.
