I remember analyzing Yesterday in my eighth grade English honors class (yeah, they were already preparing us to be in the elite English, but I don't think I can personally survive). Ooooh yesterday, how I long for yesterday...
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away,
Now it looks as though they're here to stay,
Oh I believe in yesterday.
Suddenly, I'm not half the man [woman] I used to be,
There's a shadow hanging over me,
Oh yesterday came suddenly...
Why she [he] had to go I don't know. She wouldn't say.
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday,
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play,
Now I need a place to hide away,
Oh, I believe in yesterday...
Oooh yesterday...
Well yesterday, I had my RCC interview. Being my usual self, I was overly nervous although this time around, I actually knew some of the ResComp staff. However, I was tittering the whole time. During the obstacle course however, I was able have calm poise. Well, I was working with Padamini on a Macintosh. Unfortunately we could not figure out why the computer would not connect to the Internet. I found out later that they wanted to find out how we worked as a team. The one-on-one interview was the hardest to go through--at least for me, since being put on the spot is not something enjoyable to me. Padamini enjoyed the entire experience. :)
The egg that Alan drew on just a week ago is still sitting on my desk. The mad face side is somewhat cracked. I am waiting for it to stink. I am waiting for you too, Alan. ;)
