I Chai!

I have approximately ten dollars left of dining dollars (the amount of money that I can use in campus restaurants) and about 48 meals. There's about three more weeks of class and two weeks of finals. Hmmm...

I decided to splurge on a $1.90 Chai Latte. It's strange how I get used to certain foods and as a result, get addicted to them. Last semester, when they had the Harvest Food Faire, I tried Oregon Chai and nearly repelled in disgust. A bitter aftertase...how can anyone like this?
Then again, I used to think brownies were yucky...
I need to buy some chai. It's basically tea with milk. Right now, the calcium in the milk is the most attractive aspect, since I haven't drank milk lately.
I still cannot believe that some people like Dr. Pepper. Cough syrup, I say!

It was strange today when I was walking down the stairs to the student store. My right shoe had become untied. Somehow I started thinking of what I would say if the person behind me told me that my shoe was untied. Then after thinking that, the person behind me said, "Your shoe is untied." Whoa, huge coincidence.
I must admit that sometimes I like having my shoes always become untied. It's almost like a festering wound that you miss when it heals up. No more picking at it. No more sympathetic looks. That's the same attitude I have toward my nearsightedness. I think I will miss it a lot if I ever go under corrective surgery. I still miss wearing glasses, but they are so bulky. I should be missing the bulkiness too...
