Crying in Empty Silence

If I cried when rain fell from the sky out in the night desert, would anybody hear my whimpers?

There's a booth that was moved off to the side. It's next to the Greek Theater. On the side, there's a mrual of Jimi Hendrix on the booth. Rainbow colors surround him, almost lifting him up into an unspeakable happiness. A flat piece of plastic covers the painting. There is a missing piece in the space where melodious music bursts. It almost seems like the power of the music broke that part of the plastic. Jimi looks like he has no care in the world, because he is one with the pulsing beat of music.

I ate lunch with Xing and Tram today. On the way to Unit 3, we stopped by a general good store so that Xing could get change to pay for her parking. Being my usual self, my face began glimmering the moment I saw the Cadbury eggs. Unfortunately, they weren't the creme eggs. Then again, I never liked the yolk portion of the egg anyway. Tram saw me admiring the 2 for 1 sale of the Cadbury Carmel Eggs. Abruptly, I turned and said "No! You can't buy them for me!" Unfortunately, my desire returned and I kept staring at the eggs until Tram grabbed two and walked up the cashier with me following behind saying...shaking my head. I appreciate Tram's generosity. :) That's why I gave her a swipe for lunch, which I would have done anyway.

Mr. Egg has not stunk up yet. He's hiding in the back of the computer...out of sight, but not out of mind.

I feel so drained today. So empty too. I tried to busy myself with reading short stories, something that I find myself particularly enjoying. I am culturing myself! Yet, in reality, I am just looking for a brief escape from life. I found a great place for classic short stories too--http://www.short-stories.co.uk/. One story that you must read--Kate Chopin's Story of an Hour. It's a very short story. Short! I read it last semester in English and was rapidly impressed...
