So, I quit

I was burned out by the second day. Why keep campaigning for a cause that I could care less about. All my life, I have always rallied against superficiality. I never liked the fact that in high school cross country, fellow runners would yell, "Good job" nonchantantly as if it was just another measure of etiquette. That they did not mean it. Or simply the truth was never told.
Then again, maybe life is better that way.

So, I quit.

Saturday night was cool though. I realize now that I prefer immaturity (to a certain extent) over maturity. Despite the fact that Yong and Mike were having way too much fun with Pookie (I think of Ed), the guys were pretty fun to be with. And for the times of maturity, the girlfriends are always there! :)

Yesterday, Memorial Day, I went to San Francisco with Steve, my sis and Dan. Yes, Steve drove us all the way there. I like the flying airplane though. More nifty than nifty. Doreen finally got her J. Crew shoes. And we ate at Mel's. I shared my Mel's eating experience--the Norbert experience, the Alameda people experience, the Alston last semester ditch experience, the project "omg, that lady paid for our bill!!!! let's go hug her!!!!" experience. Yup, life is cool.
Steve came with us to Lydia's Memorial Day party. Hehe, Steve's hair lost its shape after Doreen messed with it. Haha. Lest we mention the word, baton.
