How sucky. I had a different vision of moving into my new apartment. Most of all, I had a different vision of my summer. Suckier than sucky.
This makes me incredibly depressed.
My sister has a hate book. I want one too.
Yesterday was interesting. I can almost say fun but as usual, the deep hidden misery haunted me from afar. Marine World was really the last place that we had "fun" together. Also, we got the best picture in front of the dolphin fountain. However, it became a waste about a week later.
Oh, but was it fun to have lemonade and "glistening" all over myself. Yet the better part was to slap my hands on Jason and see him squirm. We all know he is sweaty. However, we also know that I am glistening.
Although we didn't go on the ride that I was looking forward to the entire time, Vertical Velocity, I got some thrills in. It's always like that though...I went to Great America and never got to ride on Drop Zone. I still haven't. And no, we didn't see a single show during our eight hour visit.
I remember one thing though. Rachel talks a lot. There should be a show called, Everybody loves Rachel.
Anyway, because I only got four hours of sleep yesterday, I woke up tired today. At 11:30, I went to Berkeley to see my apartment and give the lease to my landlord. Surprisingly, he was going to give us the keys today although the checks weren't cleared yet. Then off we went to Ikea to shop for furniture. I bought a desk with wheels. Yes, wheels...to move of course! And a cutting board. To chop carrots and who knows what else...bwahahahaha.
We dragged the desk up to third floor of the apartment complex. No, there aren't any elevators in the building. That's the trade-off of living in a nice place. However, today I discovered that we had the roof and the backyard to freely romp and play. I am thinking of a swingset. :)
