I am going to complain about my essay now. So I chose the third topic "compare and contrast two pieces that we have read and show how the characters behave toward solitude"...and I struggled with it. I was able to scrounge out four pages of words in a 12 point times roman font all double spaced. So this is what procrastination is really like.
As a result of my procrastination though, I was twenty minutes late for my ethnic studies class. I came rushing in the door that my professor was standing in front of almost swinging the door into her back. Somehow in her British mentality, she decided to make the entire class copy down her notes. My little red notebook is nearing a point of exhaustion now.
Xing gave me two rides to my dorm today! :) Our psychology discussion was incredibly amusing though. The topic of the day was the psychological theories of how people behave when they fall in love. We were supposed to come up with a story of someone that we knew who were deeply in love. Xing poked me with a pen and gave that particular smile of hers. "Talk about yourself!" she exclaimed. Yeah right! People told stories of friends and siblings who went mad while in love...and out of love. "When you saying to your beloved, 'you're so wonderful', in actuality, you're saying 'i am so wonderful'!" Right on. Dr. Mangan went on a tangent though...on babies. "Whenever you see a cute little thing, don't you just want to eat them?" Actually now that I think about it...that isn't that insane. Fat puffy cheeks! :)
Lol, it's funny...I can't ever structure my ideas anymore...not on paper...not on this glowing screen...
It's Halloween today. I sorta miss the times when I would dress up and go trick-or-treating with my sister. Hmm...oooh the last time was so fun...in fact that was last year, October 31, 1999. :) Oh, but that's so funny. A senior and a junior in high school going trick-or-treating? Duh, of course! We went up to one house and the lady asked us how old we were. I told them to guess. "You're in the seventh grade, aren't you? You're too old for trick-or-treating!" How right she was. For the last three years, my sister and I dressed up in the same costumes. Greek goddesses one year. Doctors on holiday another year. Insane patient the next... My sis probably finished the two bags of candy we got last weekend. TSK! For the rest of this evening though...although I don't have class tomorrow...I'll probably spend it in my room muddling around my desk and my bed. The usual deal.
Hmmm...I thought they had a party at Bowles...but then I ain't a partyer.
Off to forage for dinner I go!
