And the recount continues...

I feel still yet guilty that I didn't participate in the most poignant election in history ever. But then....with the selection of either canidate, we'll still live the same old American life. Bush and Gore ain't no Napoleon or Snowball.

And so does my life continue...

Tomorrow's Veteran's Holiday. The university decided to give us poor anxious students a holiday. Yet for me, a Friday off doesn't mean a single thing. Most likely, I won't be doing a single significant thing this weekend. Lydia wants me to attend her concert at her Church all the way in San Francisco. Then that's it.
I think I'll have to call up someone to do something. Or perhaps I'll study for my psych midterm for next Thrusday. Yeah. Dr. Mangan made all of us spend twenty-five cents for two pages of review notes. :p Today he asked us to write down suggestions for the class after he noticed the majority of the class dozing during his lectures. I wrote something along the lines of "Dr. Mangan digresses too much!!!!!" Uh huh! The way he usually surveys the class is to pose a question and turn around to have the class clap for agreement. So on Tuesday, he asked, "How many of you are bored and disinterested in the material?" The majority of the class clapped in response. Awwwwwwwwww!

Today my hair is one big puffball. Yesterday night, I had been foolish enough to follow my sister's advice. I woke up at 9 am and rushed out of the door without really brushing my hair. I saw my reflection in the windows along Bowditch Street...one huge mess. It's no different from middle school years. Puffballs were common then.

I have almost finished the splat of photos on my wall. A photo from Precita Eyes, a trip I took with my Spanish class last May, somehow draws my attention. It's a picture of a mural around a garage. There used to be an elaborate painting of animals and forests on the garage door, but had been torn down several years earlier. Now there's only a simple painting of two eyes partially covered with hair wisps. Those eyes...almost sorrowful...yet joyful...at the same time.
