If shame had a face
I think it would kind of look like mine.
If it had a home would it be my eyes
would you believe me?
If I said I'm tired of this...
Well here we go now one more time.
I tried to climb your steps
I tried to chase you down
I tried to see how low
I could get down to the ground
and I tried to earn my way
I tried to change this mind
You better believe that I have tried to beat this
So where will this end it goes on and on
over and over and over again
keep spinning around I know that it won't stop
'till i step down from this for good
The shampoo of life has the instructions, "Remember, and do not repeat." Today I feel somewhat cleansed. Yet, there's still the festering wound in my liver.
I woke up around 10 and laid in my bed until 11. Sunvalley pool right next door had started the usual noise for the season. It was the usual melody of cheering and loud splashes of water.
At 1 pm, I met Xing at Emerybay theaters. The drive there was to say the least "exciting". (And let's not talk about the drive back yet.) Yesterday night, C had somehow been able to get me to call him right in the middle of the night. So my usual self asked whether he would want to come see a movie with us. Yes, Moulin Rouge. And C, you shouldn't have gone out of your way to get us drinks...and a huge bag of popcorn. ;) Lately, I realized that my appetite has been rapidly shrinking. Is it an effect of long-lasting sorrow or simply because during the year, dorm food had made me immune to a desire of food. Oh and the movie was good. Because of yesterday's venture to see the three hour epic Pearl Harbor, I still had a huge dose of wooziness. Nonetheless, the movie today was interesting. I did like the way they had used contemporary songs in an musical effect. Nifty. Seeing a rendition of Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit" is a definite must as with Madonna's "Like a virgin". Hehe.
Then I walked around Emeryville with C and Xing. Yes, we went shopping. Yes, and Xing bought something. I got Shrek ice cream and became giddy again with the pop rocks.
