colors enter my world

Memories are just where you laid them
Drag the waters till the depths give up their dead
What did you expect to find
Was there something you left behind
Don't you remember anything I said when I said

Don't fall away
And leave me to myself
Don't fall away
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands
Love lies bleeding

Oh, hold me now I feel contagious
Am I the only place that you've left to go
She cries her life is like
Some movie black and white
Dead actors faking lines
Over and over and over again she cries

And I wanted
You turned away
You don't remember
But I do
You never even tried

Don't fall away
And leave me to myself
Don't fall away
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again...

Somehow a few days ago, I felt like Holden in JD Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye where I was just one other human being wandering throughout the land. In face the New York tragedies, it seemed as only groups of people dying would count. If someone stupidly crashed into the interchange and caused a 10 minute fire, we wouldn't notice. It's only one life, right?

Well, once the sun rose, I felt all the better. However, I felt that sorrow of not seeing my sis for several months. Sniffle!

Despite that heavy weight, I went to the Davis lab to help my friends in cs61a with their project. I happily showed them my cellphone. Yes, I got a cell! Finally! Although it was only a Nokia 3390, I was still nonetheless pleased. Unfortunately, it doesn't have caller groups. Not that I need them anyway. I don't know enough people to warrant an organization of caller groups, especially since I don't really have groups in aim anyway. I would rather have everyone in one huge group just for the fact that I can see more people online without scrolling. Aside from that long digressiion, I gave Tram several hints about doing her project, then headed off to Unit 1.

There, I messed around...basically trying to make good of my day. If I hadn't gotten out of my apartment, I would be spending the entire day in front of my computer, aimlessly searching for ringtones or pictures. I got to see Catherine and Sherri too! In Unit 1, I finally confirmed that I met people (and for once, I remembered their names...although I remember fumbling with one particular person). Let me recall...Monica, Chris, Fred, Derek, Ashton, Tammy, Paul (hehe, he wasn't there), Tom, Kevin (wasn't there either, but someone was asking me where he was...) Unfortunately, all the other girls I met...I forgot their names promptly. :p It's fun to be a college freshman.
