tolerant to a point

I mean, the people I talk about here (in a negative light) do have the option of reading the journal. But they are usually the ones that are too "lazy" to do so. Being a human being, there are things that bother me.

It isn't that I don't have tolerance. In fact, I really do. I tolerated my landlord for not fixing the toilet for 2 weeks. However, I never really liked using the toilet anyway. But then maybe it is in my intolerance. There are times when I get a fuzzy black cloud like pen marks written in anger above my head. Annoyance. Perhaps, it's the matter of irresponsibility.
But let's hope that I don't suffer that myself.

There are a lot of things that I am used to from last year. My roommates (three too! all three of them) left my phone messages written on a post-it stuck to my computer monitor with the time that they recieved the call. Also, we always respected each other's privacy. Only occasionally did our curiousity piqued that we looked over to see what each person was doing...and ask about it. The rule last year was that "your roommate doesn't have to be your best friend".
I had planned to live in an apartment with complete strangers, hoping that I would get the same situation as last year. Seeking comfort without disturbance. I must admit that it was lonely last year, being confined to a space all my own. Nonetheless, I was used to it. But I face a completely different situation now. One of my roommates is too eager to get to know me. But yet, I must give her the benefit since she and the other roommate chose me over other canidates to fill the empty third slot needed for the apartment. Nonetheless, it's my place now. I want to set some rules.

Is it really fair to use something for free when someone else paid for it?
