untitled II

Monday, October 23rd 2000 12:45AM

Indeed it was a nameless day.

My amusements for the evening:
• an online collaboration for English.
It was really cool though. Wendy to me always seemed a bit stoic and too serious...while I always succumbed to an inferiority complex (btw, I read its definition today in my psych textbook. let's just say SCARY.) Earlier today, I finally was able to sit down with my newly acquired Office 2000 (gracias mucho alan!) and started playing around with it. Yes we did the sharing file thing on Netmeeting. It was amazing...but needless to say creepy when I let Wendy control my document. Whoaaa! She wanted to put a dragon on our handout, because it's on a story in Maxine Hong Kingston's The Woman Warrior. Hmm...okay!
• two mini-waffles for dinner
It was unfulfilling. I missed dinner, but then...I wouldn't have missed what I was doing while I was missing dinner for the world, because missing that but not this is the worst part of all. :)
• frustration with hotline
It's all Jiong's fault. I didn't really use it until a week ago when I acquired an immense desire to have a bunch of applications on my hard drive. Suddenly last week, I realized that time was running out. In eight months, I would no longer have this fast fast connection. I needed to imagine that I was the owner of all software in the world. So arrest me. :p
• being pushed by the wind
As you may know, there was a high wind advisory right here in the East Bay. Winds gusting up to 75 mph. Unfortunately, the wind wasn't strong enough to knock down all power in the university. But fortunately, I don't have class tomorrow. I need...food.
• listening to an eurodance stream
When I first put on my headphones, I heard a female voice singing, "Let me be your slave! Let me...be....your..slave!" Hmmm...actually that reminded me of the nightmares I have been having. Am I running away from something or seeking something? Let's psychoanalyze myself. I am psychotic. Yes, that's the definite answer. • staring blankly at my print of Van Gogh's Starry Night
I remember bringing it into my dorm more than a month ago. You see, I am always weary about acting or being different. (sheesh, now that contradicts my sixth grade motto--Don't be normal; be different!) So I waited until the roommates left the room and hastily hung it up. One pushpin holds it up. I never knew it was that strong. But nevertheless...I have always relished this painting. The blues, the yellows...yes Van Gogh was insane. Reminds me of THE story. It's glowing now...

I need...need...to stop babbling...

I have decided to use sphosting.com as my new server. Yet the problem is...I don't know what to use as my login name. Should it be generic such as jenn.sphosting.com? Or jng.sphosting.com? Or jennifer.sphosting.com? Or my usual dramatic titled pages...pcb.sphosting.com? tobetwo.sphosting.com? or apathy.sphosting.com? or lost.sphosting.com? or or or...
