I am writing early in the morning. Or for that matter, late in the day. I woke up today around 11 am. My sis had already gone to bible study and I was left to rest in her bed. The night before, I spent it on the ground...on a uncomfortable sleeping bag. It does suck to live in a cramped room.
First we spent the day with Kevin P. For the second time, my first impression was smashed. I had talked to Kevin on the phone before nad had imagined him to be well...very geeky. Let's say that he turned out to be just big and tall. We went to the UTC, which I don't remember what the letters stand for, rode in his Acura Integra. We ate at the cheesecake factory, where we stuffed ourselves crazily and overspent. Cheesecakes are always worth it huh. Then we wandered around the mall before heading around San Diego to check out the rich houses.
Then at La Jolla shores, I met Josh, Channing, Ellen, Randy...and other people. It's weird. A lot of people had decided to come down during this weekend. Veteran's day three-day weekend. The beach...was interesting. Channing made a good point though. Why go to a beach if all you're going to do is nothing! all we did was pat the sand and kick the water. Too cold to swim.
Then we went to the Oceanview Terrace back on campus, where it closed early. I got a tuna salad and a cheese pizza, which Doreen paid for once again. :D Thanks Man!!! Haha.
I went to meet Sean. It was interesting. First impressions are always proven wrong. He had seemed very serious online. He was quiet basically. Then I got to see Alan "Black" again. Interesting dude.
Afterwards, I finally got to meet this dude named Arden. Haha. Well, Cliff had told me that I should meet Arden. Quirkiness. And indeed. My sis and I spent a good four hours in the apartment, where we just loafed around. Playing Snake II on our cellphones. And well...doing nothing. Yes Arden, you're a mechanical pencil!
So this is what they call University of the Socially Deprived.
It's just very hot here in my sis' apartment. Gasp, need air...
