Anger management necessary.
Yesterday night, I went to bed at 2 am hoping that I would get a good 8 hour sleep. Unfortunately, that couldn't happen.
Firstly, the headache from reading Herman Melville's Moby Dick had already penetrated my entire skull and I had trouble falling asleep. But it wasn't only that. My roommate's light was on. Her keyboard loud. Her hot soup that she was trying to blow. AGH! Then at one point, the electricity went out again. And my anxiety only grew as a result...knowing my poor computer had suffered a shock attack. Then secondly, I woke up at 9 am by the sound of the same roommate's alarm clock. Let's refer back to the entry titled top 5 things that make me bitter. Because I was afraid that I wouldn't wake up in time for my final, I actually set my alarm clock (yes, a rare occasion indeed) for 12 noon. Unfortunately, the alarm clock that went off at 9 am was snoozed...for a consecutive 90 minutes. Let's count that shall we? 90 minutes. Alarm clocks go off every 5 minutes. So I was jolted awake approximately 18 times. By then, I had gotten up...and went to the kitchen. On the way back, as her alarm clock went off again, I asked her (politely, I hope) to turn off her alarm clock. Unfortunately, her incapability to understand my precise English kicked in. Should have just said turn off that #$*&ing alarm clock!. Be direct right. Then the electricity went kaboom again.
