Alas, my little sister is leaving for college today. Sniff. Boo! Hah, well she is just returning from her winter break. Sucks that ucsd starts a few weeks before Berkeley does. So what do can I do until the 22nd? So far, I am thinking of whether I should get a job to pay off my "debt" of $1000. Best Buy customer service representative here I come!!!
So I caught up on my cousin's Jeff blog today. Dunno, perhaps the lack of seriousness is inspiring. :) Especially when compared to my journal (not blog, but journal!) where I constantly mope. It's almost about time for me to purchase a domain. Wait not just one. Two. Yes, one for the blog...and another for the journal.
Yesterday I finished three hours of my debt to the University of California. Yes, I volunteered at the Contra Costa Food Bank. Instead of getting myself covered with coffee grains, my hands got covered with black dust. Sometimes you gotta wonder who is insane enough to donate a bottle of vodka to the food bank. Oh and especially when it's half finished.
Because of certain circumstances, my sister had left her UCSD sweatshirt in my apartment. So in order to escape our parents' scrunity, we got up at 9:30 am, yelled out that I was taking out Doreen for breakfast. A definite rarity since the both of us enjoy the pleasure of sleeping. Then we had to drive the Acura Legend to Berkeley. Unfortunately, the only space that was open was squashed between two cars. I didn't want to risk yet another parking ticket...so ugh...I prepared to parallel park. Note because I live in the lovely suburbs of the bay, I am rarely faced with the challenge of 45 degree turns and skillful backing up. So I attempted to parallel park...sadly. Eventually Doreen got out and did it...slightly better.
Off we went across campus to meet up with Stacee. :D Her hair was surprisingly aznized like Doreen's. :p Bleh! The most I would ever do is dark red streaks, but I feel my bones get old already. We ate at Cafe Durant. I tended to my sore throat that somehow developed over the last few days. Got a nice Breakfast Deluxe that included a strawberry banana crepe, chocolate banana pancake, fruit salad, and a veggie omlet (which I bought back home as evidence that we had breakfast). Yummy! Stacey had a huge strawberry banana crepe filled with whipped cream to herself. :D
Then walk back across campus to my apartment...where I struggled to get my DSL line working. Finally, the power went on...and my router blinked. I got the Yo Yo song. Was pretty disappointed. Just a wannabe rapper dancing around in an airplane hangar and very madeup Chinese girl singing in Chili's. No story. :p
Then I went home. Went to sleep.
Sniffle, then Daweeeen leaving!
