of cell phones

Yesterday I estatic to discover that the horizon widened a lot with the availability of a ftp server. Hah! Well, then I realized...that I could have easily used the ftp server too at geocities. :p
Hah, I am ready for exposure. Tony said that I tooked thin. We'll see about that. Go here to see me making use of my webcam.

I was dreaming something...about something...trying to look for something...this morning when the phone rang. Jenn's alarm had already half-woken me up and I stumbled toward the phone in the dark thinking it was Tram who was supposed to meet me at my dorm. Hehe, it was Alan. Alan alarm clock! It woke up Jenn too though. Yet after the call, I crawled back to my bed. Less than four hours of sleep wasn't good to me. Yet in fifteen minutes, I dragged myself and made myself presentable.
Tram was a bit late getting to my dorm though. Then Xing...she decided to wait until Tram called to leave her house. While I was waiting for them in my dark dark room, I suddenly felt incredibly hungry again. Sigh, the pangs of hunger. And the DC annoyingly never opened for breakfast on the weekends. I was about to grab a waffle from my stash of food in my closet...but then the microwave might wake up my roommate. So I decided to go hungry. Eventually, I got to CalSo at five minutes to nine. I hurried to my assigned room for the session. On the way, I saw someone familiar. His nametag said Noam. Noam Chomsky? Hehe, ooooooh...but wait that's the linguist person that my gov't teacher kept raving about. It was the Noam...from the RCC internship who taught the Mac Obstacle Course. It was funny though; he didn't know how to use a Macintosh that well and mostly complained last Monday how everything was not really easy to access. So he was a CalSo counselor too...hmm...interesting. In the session, I became heavily irritated. It took forever for the counselor to get the material finished. Forever!!! I already chose my classes: Math 54, Computer Science 61A, Music 24A, and Cognitive Science 101 or 102. Still...it took forever for them to approve it! And my stomach kept grumbling. :p Then when the advisor finally came around, he emphasized the fact that I should look for a back-up major. I said that I might major in cognitive science if I didn't do computer science. But but...he said that I should take cognitive science c1!!! :p What is this? That's it...I am going to take the three unit course. It's not likely that I would major in cognitive science anyway. Although...well...hmmm...my mindset will probably change soon though.

Yah, don't I just like to detail each event of my day? Outline:
After the CalSo, I dragged Hien to the fountain. Okay, so here was my revelation, my conscious mind always regards my outings with friends as not real...fantastical...that truly they aren't valid. Perhaps, I keep telling myself that I am friendless...yet I am probably not. At the fountain, I happily bounced over to Tram. (Also note earlier this morning, I bounced down the stairs and nearly lost my footing...wow, it's amazing that I can be hyperactive with only four hours of sleep.) I used Tram's phone to call Xing and then Kathy. Then I helped Tram program Hien's cell number into her phone. Then I demanded that my phone number get programmed into Hien's phone number...yet Hien complained again that I was wasting her batteries. Yeah right. Kathy finally arrived and I demanded to use her cell. Then I messed with the text messaging again...we walked through a rally in Sproul plaza for the upcoming football game against Oregon (like I am going to go!!!) I showed Kathy how to send e-mails through her cell phone. We later ran into Ahn who decided to follow us to Dwinelle plaza. Xing was late! I was hungry. Eventually, she called while I was messing with Tram's the various cell rings. It was funny though...Xing didn't know how to get out of the library and with Tram's cell, I just walked all the way there. Xing saw me walking in the distance (with a cell phone glued to our ears). When I returned to the group, everyone complained that I needed a cell of my own. Perhaps...but then I was already satisfied by using everybody else's cell. Then Alston came along...blah blah. Then he left. Blah!
It was sad later on...because it was football saturday, there were a lot of meter maids patrolling a street and Xing got hit. In fact, nearly the entire row of cars on the west side of bancroft got a little green envelope with the large boldface words "PARKING TICKET". Awwwwww! Thirty dollars down the drain! Xing and I tried to find another parking space...yet we were totally unsuccessful after thirty minutes. So in sad sad sorrow, she dropped me off at the Durant Food Court and she went home for lunch.
I refuse to eat Asian food. Everybody had finished their lunch by the time I arrived. And...the food was weird. I decided just to get a frothy milk green tea w/o tapioca and later went down to Blondie's for a soda/pizza deal compliments of Kathy's student advantage card.
Ahn and Hien had to leave early...so Kathy, Tram and I were the only ones left. Kathy finally got a dorm at Clark Kerr and offered to show us it. Alas, we walked the twenty minutes up rolling hills with never-ending traffic lights...to Kathy's new dorm. At the room...I was surprised. "You're going to live here?!" It wasn't that the state of the room was bad...but it was the belongings of her new roommates that was frightening. Large posters of gothic like pictures...one huge poster of Tori Amos...another poster of a lady caked with makeup. When Kathy went to the restroom for a few minutes, a neighbor knocked on the door asking for the other roommates. Without thinking, I asked, "Hey, do you know what happened to the third roommate?"
She told me that the third roommate got into a heated argument and left. Then after a few seconds, she added that the room was haunted and that a ghost drove away the roommate. She told me to wish Kathy luck in the room. Right...then I felt bad for Kathy. Awwwwwwwwww!!!!

Then the day ended as I trotted back to my room and collapsed on my bed in exhaustation. I had planned to attend the "rave" tonight...yet Marisol hasn't called me back...and...I feel so tired. Tired. Maybe I'll go home tonight...maybe not. The post football game parties make Berkeley streets dangerous to drive on. Maybe I'll do homework. Yes. Homework is good.
