Strange. All it takes is a smile and all problems are erased. Compassion.

Instead of studying for my CS midterm, I watched Run Lola Run on my computer. Dude, am I geeky. Around this time last year, I was condemning the download of movies...because it seemed stupid to watch a movie on a puny screen. That was before I realized that I am really a poor poor poor college student. The movie was pretty good. Although after it, I had a desire to run through the campus with my backpack swinging against me in every which way.

I had the same feeling of wondering...how lives could lead into different paths just by one different movement. That's why Sliding Doors was so intriguing to me, except well...it was kinda disappointing. Nonetheless, that feeling reminds me of how Holden in JD Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye started wondering what each person was going to do...waiting for in the lobby. Just like how sometimes I feel when I am sitting in traffic, leaning back in the seat to see what had caused the back-up. A woman sits in the white Saturn ahead of me in desperation-she's going to miss seeing her daughter for the last time. A businesswoman doesn't know it, but when she gets home she's going to discover her husband in bed with her best friend. The family of three to the right of me are heading to the grocery store to pick up a new lightbulb because their son recently broke it. The teenager with two of her friends in the Jetta are heading to a party where one gets a drink laced with rohypnol.
Who knows what happens...
