Even when things seem to be going wrong, when I feel like I am being criticized and that people don\’t like me, when I think I failed a midterm, when I don\’t think I do enough for a group, somehow, some way, everything gets better.
There are always lights in the sky.
There\’s always the people I like seeing every day, because they smile and they laugh. They give me hope in the world.
There\’s always the moments when I find that I have something in common with someone else.
And when in class, I am congratulated openly for good ideas and good work.
It\’s not that bad.
It really isn\’t.
