no!
I am slightly miffed that Jack proposed to go to dim sum instead rather than Lidia\’s for brunch. I had been hoping to go for a real breakfast for awhile after the allergy-ridden experience at the Grand Concourse. But well, how can I say no to someone who politely asks me to go to another restaurant?
I tell him my grievances about how I am anti-asian and how I doubt that dim sum in Pittsburgh is of great quality. But whatever, I don\’t want to be an irritation or stubborn girl, so I just reluctantly agreed.
I have never been fond of dim sum in the first place. To me, it\’s always yet another moment that I spent with my parents or the like. There were the times that I bought my friends to dim sum just because I wanted to introduce them to a new experience, not about the food. But here I am, sadly having to eat dim sum rather than having fluffy crepes, never-ending plates of fresh pasta and organically, locally grown vegetables. Sigh.
Angst. Angst me.
