When can you read someone and figure out if his intentions are solely as a friend or as something more?
They often say that after you have been friends with someone for awhile, the border into friendship has been crossed and cannot be crossed again.
But for me, I just can\’t tell because I let things drag on for so long.
So there are some of my friends that treat me very affectionately, but I know that we are just friends. And I know never to cross the border. It would be a dangerous thing to do so.
Ben is one of my good friends in Pittsburgh. He has a girlfriend, but he treats me very nicely. If I didn\’t know, I would have misinterpreted the signals as something else. And that\’s the most puzzling thing, where\’s the difference? Where\’s the beginning and the end of a potential?
Why do you act the way you do if you\’re not interested? Thanks, but no thanks.
