what a weird moment

On the way back from the theater, six of us squeezed into a car. Four of us in the back. I sat in the middle between Jack and Charles.

Maybe I look too much for the subtlities, but because of the squeezing Jack had nowhere to put his arms. And for some strange reason, he put his hand on my back. I ignored it at first thinking he didn\’t realize it. But eventually, he had his right arm around me. It was nice though. But I had always seen him as a brother, especially since I work with him in research.

Subtle things really mean nothing. I think.
