I guess I don\’t get along with people older than me. We have varied personalities and ultimately we\’re too different. Even though we\’re in the same area at the same time (going through graduate school), it\’s difficult to really mesh that well with them. They have a few more years than me in the real world. Thus a different sense of humor, a different sense of what makes things real and not. So how can we relate?

Maybe they think less of themselves, but think more for others? I am not even sure, but how come I can\’t hit the sweet spot that I usually hit in undergrad. The spot where we suddenly come into understanding with each other. Yup, having some difficult in knowing what is funny and what is not.
